We build homes people are proud to live in, in neighborhoods they already love.
Olsen Anderson develops homes and communities that strengthen neighborhoods and enrich the everyday lives of the people who live in them.
Our Story

Olsen Anderson is a Seattle developer, builder, and general contractor. We started in 2016 because of a gap we kept running into: on infill sites, the developer, the builder, and the owner are usually three different companies. Drawings get handed down a chain, problems get handed back up, and the person who eventually lives there inherits whatever fell through the middle.
We do all three ourselves. One team owns the home from the first site walk to the day you get the keys, which means the people who design it are the people who build it.
Sincerely,

What "done right" means
The Olsen Anderson Standard is our written spec for how a home gets built: the envelope that keeps Seattle rain out, the wall assemblies that keep your neighbors' evening on their side, the roofs and decks that don't need redoing in year eight. Most of it you'll never see. That's the point. We'll show you anyway.

We stay
Every new home settles in its first year. Small things show up. Most builders call that your problem. We come back near your first anniversary, go through the home with you, fix what's on the list, and refresh the finishes.
And we don't leave the block. We own and manage homes on the same streets we build on, which means we're neighbors, not a company that was here for a while. You build differently when you're staying.
Come see one.
We'd rather walk you through a home than tell you about it.

Leadership Rooted in Experience and Accountability
Olsen Anderson is led by a team with deep experience in residential development and construction across the Seattle region.
Our leadership believes that development works best when responsibility is clear and decisions are made with long-term outcomes in mind.
How we work
Every project runs the same five steps. We call it the Olsen Anderson Way.
Find the block
We build where people already want to live, in neighborhoods worth staying in.
Design for the life
We start with the person who'll live here: how they actually spend a day, what they'll wish they had in year five.
Build to the standard
One team, land to keys, held to a written definition of done right.
Hand over the keys
Orientation, final punch, delivered complete with zero outstanding items.
Stay
The warranty year, and then some.
